Forge & Found is a female-owned design-build construction company specializing in residential remodeling and thoughtfully designed interior spaces. We serve homeowners who want more than just a contractor, they want clarity, craftsmanship, and a team they trust.

We combine design vision with construction expertise, managing projects from concept through completion. Our work ranges from kitchen and bath remodels to full-home renovations, along with select commercial interiors for restaurants, offices, and boutiques.

Business Development Representative (Commission-Only)

Residential Design-Build & Remodeling

Forge & Found is seeking a motivated, relationship-driven Business Development Representative to help grow our pipeline of qualified residential remodeling and select small commercial projects.

This is a commission-only, independent contractor position ideal for someone with strong local connections and a natural ability to build relationships.

  • Responsibilities

  • Generate qualified leads for residential remodeling projects

  • Build relationships with realtors, designers, property managers, and local business owners

  • Conduct initial outreach and basic project qualification

  • Schedule consultations for ownership (Christine or Don)

  • Communicate Forge & Found’s services and process at a high level

  • Maintain organized records of outreach and referrals

  • Represent the Forge & Found brand professionally and with integrity

  • Role Boundaries

This role does not include:

  • Providing estimates or pricing

  • Negotiating contracts

  • Committing to project scope or timelines

  • Finalizing agreements

All pricing, scope, scheduling, and contract approval are handled by ownership.

  • Compensation

  • Commission-only

  • Percentage of signed project value

  • Paid upon execution of contract and receipt of client deposit

  • No cap on earnings

  • Flexible schedule

Compensation details are discussed during the interview process.

  • Strong communicator and relationship builder

  • Comfortable networking and following up

  • Self-motivated and organized

  • Experience in real estate, construction, design, or sales is a plus

  • Has an existing local network (preferred)

  • Understands that trust and reputation matter more than quick sales
